Great film

Amazing! Great script. Fantastic performances. Stunning visual representation of Oakland and the people. Sneaky-funny in an unexpected way. The rhymes are sublime with beats in perfect time; unwinding the plot; much more than just cops and black kids getting shot.

Estrada’s Blindspotting literally is an edge of your seat thriller. With a mix of trauma and comedy the story sheds light on racism within police forces and about the plight of those formerly incarcerated. Blindspotting brings “This is America” song to film that leaves viewers with an idea of how being black in America means dealing with police intimidation and injustice.
