A rather original, but ultimately empty thriller that leans too hard towards aesop over action.

The movie is quite formulaic and really didn't get me excited at any point in the film. I love this group of actors but I don't think they were able to showcase their true talents. I give kudos to Sean Penn who was able to get himself totally ripped for this role.

It was great to see Sean Penn in such great shape and a movie again, but he should have waited for better script. Unfortunately, it's not a movie I would recommend anyone see. The plot never developed, parts storyline were left on the cutting room floor. If you want to see a violent shoot-up 'em up and bones breaking this is the movie for you. Otherwise, I suggest you save your money.

I was disappointed! I thought it was going to have more action. Didn't understand who they were working for-I was a little confused as a few others were. Sean Penn was good--it was good to see him in a movie again! Felt like I've seen that movie before--It was weird!
