Very good movie. Great action scenes, Jackie Chan was great!

An enjoyable film overall, with high production value, good acting, and a sensible plot. The action sequences were great, well choreographed and cleanly shot. I liked seeing Jackie Chan in a serious role, and Pierce Brosnan was on point as always. The conceptual framework of the plot was new to me, but the elements were not very original in themselves. While there were women in the film, none of them really talk to each other, failing the Bechdel test. Also, none of the characters were very likable, except for some sympathy for Jackie Chan. Not having read the book it was based on, I suppose many of these issues stem from the source material. Despite these nits the film was technically very well done and I certainly enjoyed myself.
