The second half of Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning is a taut thrill ride that's exactly what you go to Mission: Impossible movies to see.\r\rThe first half is a concerted effort to tie the whole movie series into a strict continuity, and wasn't necessary for the plot and *maybe* not to even watch--you could walk in an hour after the posted showtime and still get your money's worth.\r

It wasn’t one of the better ones. Too much was going on, a lot of it was unbelievable, especially everything to do with the submarine and then taking off the protective suit. I know he’s known to run in his movies but was actually too much running, go steal a motorcycle or car if you know Luther is in danger.. Last but not least . I think the girl should have got her revenge

Seems like this chapter was more of a vehicle for all the action and not a real plot. Lots & lots & lots & lots of impossible action sequences. If you see the MI movies for that - you'll like it.

Similar to other MI films, the characters explain everything to the audience in the format of a group discussion/plan. I wish there was more inference required by the audience as opposed to being spoon fed the plot.\r\rRegardless, the franchise brought back its heavy hitter actors & introduced some new characters played by some rising Hollywood stars. The action & pacing were great though.
