It was funny, but substance wise, it was only entertainment.

The 1st hour of the movie was extremely amusing, however the last 1 hour appeared to just stall time. It went down hill after he met his son... I fell asleep!

As a fan of the original, I think this movie could have been a lot better. A lot of the jokes were repeated throughout the movie, which took away from laughs it could have gotten. Will Ferrell (which is my favorite comedian) seemed like he was forced into doing the movie. The movie focused too much on Derek's stupidity and really didn't have a good plot when you think about it.

Had a couple of funny parts. One time watch.
