The overall plot had great potential. A few directorial choices led to odd pacing, which they seemed to try and fix with one line of dialogue that book-ended the film. The use of some technology that seemed applicable for military applications not a drilling rig, also seemed implausible. The overall visual design and creature design was beautiful and I loved the references to literary mythology

Action from start to finish. Actors were good and came across as if they had known each other for a long time, so believable characters. Definite suspense, jump worthy moments and interesting premise. I would see it again.

Very disappointing. Too dark but needs to be expected for an underwater deep depth movie. No story line or back story.

It’s had some holes that could have been filled better but it was worth seeing. The creatures were a bit fake looking but again still worth seeing. I love Kristen Stewart and she did a great job of carrying the movie.
