It's very moving. I love how the director was able to show how simple yet complex the relationship of the Father and daughter.

Excellent Movie! I had read the book and often feel the movie lacks thereafter. In this case, I loved the movie as well as the book. The actors, writing and energy of the movie was perfect. It is a difficult subject matter. Making a mentally ill protagonist and a violent alcoholic sympathetic...while finding their parenting appalling, is quite a feat. This movie met that challenge.
