Sound clarity up front not up to par, but the movie itself was good.

Having never read the book the story felt like it skipped a chapter regarding the Major and the televised aspect of the competition.. the blunt dystopian run thru the film at time left desire to see more supporting visuals , but abruptly let's the watcher fill in the blank with their own thoughts An endurance run watch , I'll be search other King novels for interwoven subplots

Good movie!

As a person that did not read the book, the movie was still easy to follow and understand. The character introductions and character development were fantastic. You attach yourself to each character and dread knowing that most of them will not make it to the end of the film.
