The film was interesting and informative, however some of the cuts between scenes felt very awkward. In particular scenes switching from the main story line to the future. The only one that truly made sense and flowed well was the cut to the bombing of Japan. \r\rIn addition, some of the cuts between scenes in the main story line also felt awkward. One such example was the birth of the second child. We see there was some kind of issue and the next thing we know the baby was fine.\r\rHowever I would recommend this because the acting was good and I felt this was an important story to tell.

I really liked how the history/timeline of Madam Curie’s personal and professional life was presented. The history of her scientific discoveries as well as the dynamics of her personal/professional relationships was laid out perfectly! Very enjoyable, interesting and moves at a good pace!

As a female scientist, I was really excited to see this movie and I came in with a general knowledge of Mme Curie's life which was helpful because the pacing is quick. It also jumps almost without warning into different time periods. Other viewers without prior background knowledge quickly became confused. I thought that this movie did a good job highlighting the excellent scientific work done by Mme Curie, while also addressing the struggles that she experienced socially and emotionally as a strong women at the turn of the century.
