Emma Thompson didn’t work for me as a comedian, but everyone else did great and played convincing roles.

Very Funny. Great movie, likeable characters, lots of heart, too many F-Bombs for me.

Smart humor

It was an interesting take on an old trope of tired veteran and a high energy upstart. The individual character development as well as the relationships that formed were fun to watch and had me cheering for Thompson and Kaling. It was fascinating to see how the film incorporated current topics and addressed them in their own way. Refreshing!
