The nun had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. It was a good spin off to the Conjuring series. It also gave the audience a few good scares although in the beginning it was probably due to the loud volume scenes. The movie is very dark and stays dark throughout the whole 1.5-2 hrs, but you have a couple of funny scenes that help relieve the intensity of the film.

Really scary and great

Anything to do with the bizarre workings of the church, religion, and the devil make an intriguing horror film. I think the Catholic church wrote the book on horror, through biblical times, AND through now. Taissa Farmiga was excellent acting--like mother, like daughter. I jumped in my seat at every expected moment--enjoyable horror.

Would have liked more story how the young Nun and the Priest fit into this scenario.
