A very powerful experience with great performances.

The movie was well-documented and accurately depicted our country's horrifying racial discrimination history. I left the movie with all sorts of mixed emotions about how these discriminatory acts still continue to happen in the U.S. fifty years later. The acting by John Boyega was spot on for the role he so brilliantly portrayed. The film was a bit too long though.

An emotional look at life in Detroit

I wish it depicted more of the riots themselves and what happened and not just one incident.
