Great movie I liked the realness of the action

Great cast and story. I really like how it followed the events of Gladiator years after. The new characters helped develop the story.

Was I entertained? I was mildly entertained. This sequel was... Okay. I still think this is the sequel that no one asked for. The fight scenes were okay. The music was not as good as the first movie. Fans of the first will find the arena a source of continued entertainment. However while Mescal's performance as Lucius is gritty, Washingtons was not convincing and Pascal's Acacius was underutilized heavily. By the end,the familiarity became more of a rehash of what audiences already saw in the first. Diluting the impact as a result. It was a fine film, but not as great as its predecessor.
