The actors were memorable, and the director created an image of loneliness for these immigrants, but I wish there were a little more humor. I was hoping to hear the lead actor play a complete piece of music at the end, which was a disappointment. There were a few special scenes, such as when the young man discovered the spice in the store, the one character who befriended the chicken, and when the brother appeared in the cottage amid the Northern Lights. The phone calls with the mother were revealing of the situation in Syria. Overall, a good movie.

Very solemn, pensive. Somewhat boring, but thoughtful.

Pretty music but too slow and boring. Also it was too hard to follow.

I found the movie very slow moving and didn't understand initially how the two main characters got there to begin with, although I understood that they were both refugees, but it didn't make sense to me, especially since everything seemed so normal.
