NYCbasketball- brings back memories

Enjoyed it. Fascinating to see the mesh of cultures displayed and appreciated throughout the film.

For reference, I am a black, 39 year old female. While I don't think I was the intended audience of the movie, I still enjoyed it. The plot and the music were great. Boogie was a great protagonist and I found myself rooting for his dream and hurt when it was so close but yet unattainable. I think teens and 20 somethings will love this film.

Solid indie drama with a great soundtrack. Lead actor who plays Boogie has charisma. Eddie Huang did good with his first film even if it's familiar. \r\r
