This movie is great! The acting and direction did not disappoint. It seamlessly and beautifully takes you back to this time in history.

I was truly into the dialogue between these four men. My hats off to Regina King in her directing and producing of this historical body of work. I posted my views and rating on my Facebook page encouraging others to watch this film! It was a delight! I give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Bravo!

Extraordinarily moving and entertaining. Regina King as director is equal to the great Regina King, actor. The acting was first-rate across the board, but Leslie Odom Jr. as Sam Cooke gives a sizzling performance that burns up the screen! Terrance Ballad’s moody score is a perfect accompaniment to the tone and style of the film. Filmmaking at a very high level.

I loved the movie, It’s a must watch movie, especially for the younger generation.\rI feel like the message is as relevant now as it was 56 years ago!\rvery interesting!
