Valerian was a unique futuristic science fiction adventure. The film was very colorful and I loved "bubble" Rihanna did great!

Visually astonishing! It is '5th ELEMENT' on steroids.

The film was not as confusing as the previous reviews have stated. However, it was EXTREMELY gorgeous in 3D. Probably the best 3D film I've ever seen in my entire life. The plot was pretty straight forward after you realized what was happening. There was more humor than expected. Overall, it was a pretty decent movie. A scene or two probably could have been left on the drawing table, but it wasn't too overlong.

It started off a little slowly at the beginning, but once it got going it was quite interesting. The two main characters had great chemistry on screen which helped. Some bits were a little disjointed...missing threads that were probably lost in the editing process. The visuals were absolutely amazing and beautiful. Seeing it in 3D didn't enhance the experience, in my opinion. I feel it would have been just as amazing without it. I would definitely recommend seeing it just to admire the beautiful work done in this film.
