I personally though the movie was pretty good

I think that Tom Hanks did an excellent job in his role. as did a few of the others. I liked all the twists and turns , but not being familiar with the story behind the movie , it took a bit to catch up and understand what was really going on . I do not feel that this movie will appeal to as large an audience as one might hope due to the historical nature of its content. The sets were very nicely done as well. But a lot of the things that happen in the movie were a bit hard to believe .

Good all around movie. Plenty of twists and turns, beautiful artwork and architecture. Overall entertaining. Will watch again on DVD/TV.

This was a GREAT movie!! I didn't know much about it before attending, but it was a non-stop ride from the first minute. The scenery was amazing - Tom Hanks was amazing and I liked the twist in the plot with the girl traveling with him. I didn't have high expectations when going to the screening, but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed every minute of the film.
