I think calling it Kubo and the Two Strings was a mistake since it put too much focus on his guitar which was barely used and had three strings. So everybody knew he would break some strings and immediately knew what he would use his mom's hair for. Otherwise it was good.

Cute for young children

Started really slow. Picked up the pace at the point the Giant Skelton was introduced. The grandfather turning good guy was an interesting twist.
