I really enjoyed this film because, although somewhat tragic, there were many lessons offered through Stone's dilemma regarding his hearing loss and relationship to his love through his music.

Deeply moving. Hope this gets more Oscar noms than Hillbilly Elegy. I hope your team really works up a good Nomination campaign for Paul Raci.

It is a beautifully told story about something that isn't talked about enough. SOUND OF METAL is a raw, authentic film that takes an honest look on what it is like to have hearing loss. The sound mixing is incredible, and really puts the audience in Ruben's head. Not to mention that the script is well written, and the direction is solid. I thoroughly enjoyed SOUND OF METAL, and would gladly watch it again.

I am always a fan of a movie that can rely on acting rather than constant dialogue. This is a beautiful film. I imagine that there is a multitude of ways one can handle that type of profound change, and I think this movie gave justice to the one in this story.
