EXCELENT!!!!

The film was captivating. At first, I had trouble keeping the girls straight but as the movie went on and their characters became more defined it became easy. The acting was terrific. I would highly recommend this film.

Those who grew up with the book will fall in love all over again. Those who are new to this timeless story will fall in love for the first time. Greta Gerwig breathes new life into these characters with so much enthusiasm and care. The relationships are magnetic, the cinematography is lush, and the story continues to ring true. Take your daughter, take your mom, take your best friend, take anyone you can to this movie. Keep the story alive and breathing. You’ll be glad you did.

In a world where people are focused on self serving, it was great to see community love expressed by the family and the neighborhood. It was realistic to showcase that death and disappointments are still part of life even unto those that do good. I loved the simplicity of the hearts of the little women when interacting with one another. I cherished the forgiveness scene after the burning of the manuscript. I particularly adored how the girls respected and cherished their mother.Ngozi Metu
