I wasn't excited by the trailers I'd seen. I generally did like the movie though. There were way more fun characters and storytelling than I expected. Also, more lady characters than I thought there'd be. The pseudo-science was irredeemably bad even for a monster movie, but that also wasn't the worst. Super unclear why Kong's butt muscles were CGI-ed so graphically.

Mindless fun!

It gave me everything I wanted as a fan. Maybe not enough Godzilla but I liked it.

Opening is hard to follow, but the overall prod value is good
