Some interesting scenes but rather predictable story line. Too much out of focus. Excellent acting by Hanks and Rhys.

I would recommend the film mainly for the acting. Matthew Rhyss and Tom Hanks were both excellent. But I was disappointed in the story line. From the title, I was expecting to see more of a biography of Mister Rogers. Instead, it was rather depressing. I suppose the point is that these are the kind of topics Mister Rogers addressed on his show, and that he had a profound, life-changing effect on everyone he encountered. The use of miniatures provided welcome whimsy and creativity.

I think if it had been advertised differently, it would have been really good. I also think as a standalone film, unrelated to Mr. Rogers, it would have been better as the expectation was that it would be a movie about the TV personality when it was actually more about the jounralist who wrote about him. Decent movie, but misleading promos.

Brought back childhood memories, a different take than I anticipated.
