With a mix of great characters and a compelling story, Bad Times at the El Royale comes off as a interesting mix of Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, and Drew Goddard himself. My biggest issue however is with the pacing. The first half feels fast and exciting while the second feels slog-like in comparison. However, despite this issue, the final product stands as an entertaining picture.

Some parts were too long dragged out and felt very slow. Otherwise good storyline with twist and turns.

It was a pretty good film! It sort of reminded me of Pulp Fiction in how it unfolded, jumping back and forth from past to present, showing how the stories intertwined.
