A 40 something couple is about to have a third child. Marlo is played by Charlize Theron married to stereotypical Drew, Ron Livingston who does not have a clue as to what is going on or chooses not to see. They have a typical 8-year-old daughter and a quirky kindergarten age son. Marlo is overwhelmed by life even before the birth of her new daughter and accepts her rich brother’s offer, of a night nanny. It is a fantasy comes true, with a large dose of mental illness. It is only at the end, that one realizes the whole point of the movie. It is thought provoking about real issues.

Still a great interpretation from Charlize Theron ! Very realistic but the outcome of the story wasn't exploited deeply enough.

I thought Charlize Theron did a great job in character, however, I did not quite understand the plot of the story until the very end of the movie.
