It accomplishes the task of how an underdog can overcome personal obstacles with some unsupportive individuals who get in the way of realizing his dream to shoot for something big, by being a respected, qualified Olympic contender. Its very inspirational with some light humor mixed in.

The film was inspiring. Edwards had the aspiration and persistence that champions do; those character traits that people hope that they have but fall short off. I left feeling motivated.
