A beautifully conceived and executed film with real heart. I can understand the cultural backlash, but don’t agree with it. Despite limited translation, I connected to Atari and his 12 year old needs, not finding insensitivity, but rather admiration for Japanese culture. It also stated it was 20 years in the future, so lighten up and enjoy a beautiful character adventure.

I've enjoyed Wes Anderson films over the years, but I feel this one is probably one of his best yet. I wasn't that fond of Fantastic Mr. Fox, but Anderson did a much better job with this 2nd attempt at claymation. Like many of his films, I do enjoy them, but not typically to own. I'll definitely rent it again at a later date.

Kids will enjoy it as well as parents!

It is not a child's animated movie. Very engaging and enjoyable.
