“Wind River”, about missing & murdered indigenous women, a very real issue, is handled with sensitivity & insight. The director/writer & producers deserve kudos. Mountainous scenery & cinematography are spectacular. Distracting was that every indigenous actor is from a different reserve. Despite the flaws, an important film to see, for a better understanding of why something must be done!

The movie started out with a lot of suspense and clues. I was wondering what the eventual outcome would be when all of a sudden, there was a quick shoot-out scene with the hero and heroine left standing. I would have liked the movie to be longer. Also, too many scenes of the mountain, etc, perhaps more plot development would be better
