It was a little slow in parts.

I love Queen, but this was a mostly soulless, rushed film that needed more development for the band and Freddy himself. The first half was a mess. The pacing was awful. The latter half was better with some great scenes scattered throughout and very good performances and a downright incredible final scene. But overall Bohemian Rhapsody needed more character. It was so surface level. 5/10. Just ok.

Falls into every biopic trap and treads remarkably shallow water with absolutely no insight into either the creative process or artistic genius, and yet....it gets by almost totally on the strength of its subject.
