This movie was Awesome!!! It really hit home! It was dramatic, realistic and it had great humorous moments. I really hope a lot of people go see it! The acting was superb!

This was the best movie I’ve seen all year. The characters were very realistic in their daily inner city life. I loved how the story was told thru the eyes of an African American high school student named Starr. Amanda Stenberg did a stellar job. Warning - forget the tissues, you’ll need a towel for this movie.

Great movie on social & racial injustice! Great acting by the lead actress Amandla SHighly recommended! People were even clapping at the end!

Movie was very well done. Addressed important issues facing our communities today and took race issues head on. Tough subject matter taken on with incredible honest portrayals.
