The movie plot was great so it's the way it was written. The actors roles were played phenomenally by the lead actors. The cinematography was very compelling and did depict the story's era. Overall, I would recommend this movie to the next person based on the plot, acting and cinematography.

It had some dry periods , however it was a good movie overall!

I think it was an incredible movie. The cinematography was incredible, it was a dark, bleak film that used the colors beautifully . Christopher Plummer was incredible and really captured the essence of the character (I was expecting a "Mr. Wayne" every time he spoke).My only disappointments were that I wish they dove into the father's character more and his nosedive from a loving father into a drug addict. Also that the ending seemed a bit rushed, I feel like the signing over of the company

Good actor choice and good story line. We enjoy movies based on a real story and thought this held up pretty true to the real story with some maybe marginal embellishments. The ending was a bit rushed and my guest felt they should have showed what happened to J Getty III's dad J Getty Jr. It was a loose end. The cutting of the ear was a bit extra gory but gave the raw emotion of what it would have been like to be kidnapped. The emotions were real. We have already recommended this movie
