It's a bit James Gunn-y, the plot was the same as Guardians 3 (race against time to save a CGI character) but the acting was good, I appreciated Lobo's portrayal, and even though the "I'm a mess" mindset of the protagonist is a 2014 concept, I still liked the supergirl's personal journey and conclusion at the end.

Millie Alcock great. Nice to see Superman again. Movie was very dark, muddy, fuzzy and not fun to look at most of the time. Villain was uninteresting. Action scenes were quick, and dark and therefore un engaging.

The James Gunn-ification of this movie is incredibly discouraging for the future of this DC franchise. Dull, ugly, boring, uninspired and I’ve never liked Lobo.

It was fun I guess. But lots of strange/illogical decisions from the characters. It was probably a bit scary/violent for a typical pg-13, I was foolish to bring my 10 yr old
