Very touching. Loved the way the movie transitioned back and forth from time periods. The four sisters were played by marvelous actresses! Highly recommend seeing it.

The film was delightful from start to finish. The characterization was well drawn amongst all of the lead players. As a woman I could empathize with the difficult roles that were thrust upon the sisters in that era & I was happy to see the warm, loving relationship amongst the sisters & between the mother & her daughters—something rarely portrayed onscreen. The audience at the screening was quiet and totally absorbed by the film. I salute Greta Gerwig for her excellent interpretation.

Absolutely amazing. Great choice of cast, great way to tell the story by doing flashbacks and coming back to real time. Absolutely stunning costumes and keeping with the time. Loved every minute of it. This movie was surprisingly funny but yet was able to make me cry at the same time. 10/10 would see again!
