It’s a beautiful film, but heartbreaking. The acting and cinematography was superb.

The performances were subtle and yet packed a huge punch. There was no weak spot in the cast (which is very important in a film like this where the actors are front and center the entire time). As long as you are ready for tears this movie MUST be added to your watch list.

Jessie Buckley gives what I may be as bold as to consider one of the greatest female performances of the past decade, as a matter of fact it may be of of the best of any actor regardless of gender in the past twenty-someodd years. Absolutely riveting and painfully realistic. All performances are stellar. The writing is also just completely spectacular, all elements of the film lead to one central theme: pain is an enduring force. I cannot possibly say enough good things about this film.
