The lead role was played by the wrong person. I actually thought this should’ve been a TV movie because it is not worth seeing in theaters. Some of the actors had to dim their light because of how poor of a acting job the lead was. The movie could’ve been better if the lead role was played by someone else.

It was entertaining but it wasn't a good remake of the film from 1972

I thought that it was entertaining but somewhat “toxic “. I feel it will give young people the impression that selling drugs isn’t a bad job. And I wish we didn’t have to see the lesbians. Why couldn’t Priest’s girlfriend just want him? But overall, it will be another “(New) New Jack City “.
