It was funny, witty, sometimes goofy, moving, sad and touching movie. Dench was the grand dame as usual, Ali Fazel was very good also. Izzard was a wonderful as Edward VII, also Adeel Akhtar was really good.

Interesting story, along the lines of the previous film "Mrs Brown." Lavish settings and costumes.

I'm happy he kept a journal. This was a touching story that makes the Queen more lively.
