Very good movie. Horrifying that it's based on an actual event. Jessica Chastain sealed a best actress nomination for sure. Was also impressed to learn that the animals were not trained to do things outside their natural intentions.

This movie did a great job of making me love the animals and people portrayed. I refer to it as a diet movie, because within five minutes of the movie starting I had no interest in eating any of the snacks I had in my lap!

Having been to Warsaw and the concentration camps, I really enjoyed the movie. It's a hard topic for some people to digest, but it was well done. If you're not familiar with what went on in Europe during WWII, you might have trouble tracking parts of the movie. I would recommend this to most people.

Highly informative, great suspense and fantastic acting.
