Very good if you’re a Harry Potter fan. Too hard to follow if you’re not!

Although it probably wasn't my favorite film of the series, I still enjoyed the Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore film. There were a few slow scenes at first, but I was still engaged and entertained with the fantasy adventure which contained sufficient humor and action throughout the film. This movie contained a good storyline, and the actors and visual effects were great as usual.

I enjoyed that plot-wise the story picks off of The Crimes of Grindelwald and expands more into the backstory of Credence/Aurelius as well as Grindelwald's rise to power, the magical creatures shown are interesting wether new or old.\rMy only gripe against the movie was the lack of a in-universe reason for Grindelwald's change in appearance from Johnny Depp to Mads Mikkelsen via spell or potion.
