Charming movie. Enjoyed seeing the inner workings of the House if Dior and the clothes.

A complete fantasy from start to finish, light as a cloud of tulle in the crinoline billowing Dior gown. And that's a good thing. Full-disclosure: I am RABIDLY chickflickphobic. And this may now have taken the title of Mother of All Chickflicks! HOWEVER...it's also a welcome (needed!) escape in these angry times, and a lovely metaphor for what we could all use more of in them. Smart direction, writing, and visuals. And a PERFECT performance from a lead unfamiliar to many North Americans I now hope to see a lot more of, supported by equally expert performances from every other speaking role.
