From the CGI fireworks in the opening scene, to the CGI blood splatter, it was very bad. I feel bad that Bautista and Ben Kingsley wasted their talent on this crappy script

It's a fun movie, but I wanted to leave and go do something else halfway through. The acting wasn't great; only one or two of the jokes landed; I didn't feel chemistry between the romantic leads; I hated the fake accents; I'm not a fan of one-dimensional portrayals of women as sex objects. Loved the scenery and architecture in the film, though.

I thought the premise was stupid and a lot of the dialogue was bad but the fight scenes were well choreographed and there were some cool transitions. I also thought the movie ended very abruptly. And I didn’t really like the stereotypical depictions of all the characters from different backgrounds, it’s a lame excuse for comedy. Also I really didn’t appreciate a non-Jewish actor playing a Jewish role and the fact that he’s Jewish being the punchline of jokes.

Funny in parts but overall not a great movie. Predictable and Batista just isn’t the right as main lead role
