Decent action scenes but a bit light on the plot and character development. Micheal Keaton adds some humour in some supposedly dark scenes.

Good action. Story line can be better.

American Assassin was very entertaining & enthralling. The story was a little contrived at times, but understandable since a movie can't be as fleshed out as a book. It is a great one time watch type of movie, but not something I can see watching multiple times which is why I couldn't give a higher rating. It is one of the better action films currently playing, so don't feel hesitant to go see it.
