It was a new spin on a scary movie.

This was a good teen horror-comedy! The cast was amazing and the story was solid——a little rushed at times. The ending was as you expected & very 80s. Overall, a good entry for your Halloween movie line-up!

My son and I enjoyed the movie! It was definitely a comedy/horror mix. The characters were developed well throughout the movie and the ending did not leave you hanging, waiting on a resolution. Would recommend!

More like a 3.5 star, but no fractionals. The dialogue, tension, and delivery of the plot were all spot on. Weaknesses of the film mostly lie in the awful cgi (honestly, the birds added nothing and that money could have been spent on render farm time for the tapeworm and demon) and the huge tonal whiplash that was expected -- but the direction didn't know how to transition between goofy and horror all that well.\r\r
