Kind of long/slow at times, but very engaging characters! Wished they'd been more explicit / closed the loop with hotel management

Drew Goddard continues to impress. The actors I wasn't already familiar with (Cynthia Erivo, Lewis Pullman) knocked it out of the park and Jeff Bridges brought it as always, of course. My favorite scene might be the one set to an a cappella rendition of "This Old Heart of Mine".

A slowly paced, often humorous meanderer through the smoldering fires of hell with a bit of a bang here and there to lift u up out of ur seat and pay attention..Terrific acting by entire ensemble with special kudos to Cynthia Erivo for a stellar performance that offered the soothing voice of a melodic angel in contrast to the clatter and bang of a chaotic and creepy Tahoe motel.

It was a good suspenseful movie that keep me guessing why each of the characters were at the hotel. What was their hidden agenda.
