not enough character development. we were not invested in any characters

It felt derivative--very similar to the movie 2012. Acting and dialog were a bit rough. I didn't feel a connection with the characters (maybe needed a little humor?).

Sci-fi thriller with so-so side plots.

Story line has been done; totally predictable; nothing about this movie was unique or surprising. I did like that the couple came back together at the end so they were a reunited family. Kudos again to Songbird, that was really good.
