Bring a few tissues as you will need them. Loved the drawings and water color photos. We know that when someone has cancer there is a possibility that there will be a death but we hope for the best. This movie shows the fight that family members go thru when you want someone to have a positive outcome but you need to be prepared when there isn't a positive.

It was an interesting movie. Could have been more entertaining. But I liked the graphics and effects for the monster, that was well done.

"A Monster Calls" is a wonderful fantasy story of a boy coming to terms with his mother's illness. Through stories a magical world is created. A touching movie that had many in tears in the audience including myself.

Enjoyed movie, very heartfelt. If I could I would give it 3 & 1/2 stars. Previews looked 2 b geared 4 kids, think it may b a bit more mature & scary 4 kids so felt that was misleading. Enjoyed the movie just not the Regal Winter Park FL theater or most Regal theaters 4 that matter. Prefer AMC & their process of screening, they don't force u 2 wait outside or save seats 4 press, have previews b4
