i thought the first was more historically accurate but this one had a better story although the CGI for the animals was terrible - there was never any sharks eating people that just made it over the top but the acting was good. some cringy moments with blood and gore that i had to look away

Overall a good continuation of the original story.

Decent- follow up to the classic gladiator-

Highly entertaining. It is extremely violent, but there is a story so I did enjoy the movie. Denzel Washington is outstanding- you love to hate him! The new gladiator, Paul Mescal, puts on a solid, believable performance. He was a joy to watch. Some of the scenes in the arena are a bit over the top, but they didn’t deter from the overall movie.
