The lead actor WAS MLK. Awesome performance. Unhappy that true events were twisted. This movie could have been a great teaching tool if LBJ had been portrayed truthfully. I was totally rapt the entire film. The brutal depictions of racism were hard to watch but, I believe, are important so that people who are too young to remember Selma. Oprah's small role was spot-on.

Amazing film! Very hard to watch in some parts. The acting was spot on. The story was from an angle never told. The level of detail was meticulous. This should be a must see for everyone. No question I'm buying it when it comes out on blu ray. Highest recommendation I can give

The movie was great!!!

I thought it was a movie everyone in our country should see! I loved having history come to life on the big screen. As a white woman, having the historical context of what my Black brothers and sisters have endured, was simply powerful! I'll be taking my two dee children to see this.
