Wonderful continuation of the multi generational family saga. There are endings and beginnings and drama connected to both that are utterly human - regardless of class. Truly spectacular locations and period costumes add to the sense of time and place. \r\rIf your a long time fan - run don’t walk to the theater and bring multiple Kleenex for joy as well as sorrow. If you’ve never seen an episode of the long running television series - go, too, and get swept up in the romance that is Downton.

Excellent film!!!! It had some extremely sad moments and some heartwarming, very touching moments. I loved the plot and also the recap at the beginning. Still adore the characters. I actually thought this was even better than the first film, and the first film was really good. The only thing I didn't like was the homosexual part. I cannot wait to see this film again with my mom and my sister. I am so glad I got to see it early. I will definitely be seeing it again a few more times. I would DEFINITELY recommend it.

I loved it! The movie told the stories of our most beloved characters, and introduced some new ones too. It was thrilling to see Mary step into her role of The new matriarch of downtown abbey… Barrow got a happy ending that he deserved… Carlson and his wool suit in the Mediterranean!

It was very well done. Great continuation of the story.
