Spotlight is an excellent movie. It does a great job of showing how journalism looks when done correctly. It is extremely well acted by the entire cast, but I'd have to say that Keaton and Ruffalo stand out. (That is largely because their characters get the most screen time, and they really shine in the roles.) It is also interesting to see solid journalism's power for change. Oscar-worthy.

Very deep, opening a dark subject that many joke about but never read into. Just like the spotlight team the entire team on this movie did a wonderful job of not just getting the story out there but telling it right - getting all the details.

One of the best written, directed, produced, and acted films I've ever seen. A great inside look at the Spotlight team's 2001 investigation and the coverups within the Catholic church. Definitely an Oscar-worthy film.
