the drama involved and the handling of the subject matter made it shine. it was a beauty and a horror both. the actors didn't skip a beat and I was actually impressed with how everything was handled even with this gruesome topic of racism and violence in wwii America.

Excellent casting and performances. Very moving and true to the time in which it was depicted. Will be a moving experience for African Americans and others who are woke!!Oscar nominations for sure.

Loved the storyline. It was incredible to see two people forge a friendship due to one of their most terrifying experiences despite their environment and what others may think of it. I especially loved the message in the end.

I thought the movie was very good.This movie was difficult to watch at times because of the racial tension in the movie. However, I think this was the intention of the director; to show how hard it had to be to actually live through segregation. There is one criticism I had of the movie. I did not like the narrated portions of the movie. They were well written, but just felt out of place.
